Dongyue Marks 1,000 AAC Production Lines Worldwide

Dongyue Machinery Co., Ltd. has crossed a line that few block equipment makers outside Europe reach: the 1,000th autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) production line it supplied is now running. The plant stands outside China, one of more than 1,000 Dongyue AAC systems deployed around the world since the company entered the sector.

The number is not a vanity count. Each AAC line is a turnkey plant — raw-material batching, mixing, casting, cutting, autoclaving and cubing under one control system. Getting a thousand of them running in different climates, on different power grids and with different local aggregates is the part competitors stall on. Dongyue’s edge traces back to 2013, when it acquired the full AAC know-how of Germany’s Katzbeton — the cutting tolerances, the autoclave door seals, and the density-control logic that holds ±5 kg/m³.

The geographic spread tells the rest. Dongyue AAC lines now operate in Saudi Arabia, Russia, Kazakhstan, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Thailand and Indonesia, with more running across the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia. In Central Asia alone, the company signed the QazAACA association membership in Almaty in December 2025 and, weeks later, a strategic agreement with Kyrgyzstan’s MB Company for a 4.8 m fully automatic AAC line — both built on that same German-derived engineering base.

“Reaching a thousand lines means a thousand sites where the steel either kept its promise or it didn’t,” said a Dongyue AAC project engineer. “We don’t measure success by containers shipped. We measure it by whether the plant holds density spec on a Monday shift with the local crew running it. That’s the only number the next customer asks about.”

Remote PLC diagnostics now ship standard on Dongyue lines, letting the overseas service team — with staff in India, Indonesia and Central Asia — watch a plant’s casting and autoclave curves and step in before a fault stops production. For buyers in markets where a stopped line means a stalled housing project, that support is the reason they signed.

The 1,000th line is a checkpoint, not a finish line. Dongyue’s aim stays the same: keep each plant producing on spec, wherever it stands, and keep putting a Chinese-built AAC solution into the world’s building sites.
